CO At Terminal B In EWR?

I just noticed that my LHR-EWR flight on CO will be arriving at Terminal B in Newark. Is this the only CO flight arriving at Terminal B? And if so, why not Terminal C? Any answers? (By the way, the flight from EWR to LHR leaves from Terminal C.)


Next flights: YQM-YYZ-YVR; YVR-YYC-YHZ-YQM; YQM-EWR-LHR; LHR-EWR-YQM

According to this, only the CO flights from LHR arrive at Terminal B. That's exactly my question. Why the flights from LHR at Terminal B instead of C? All the other CO transaltantic flights I've taken into EWR have arrived at Terminal C (GVA, SNN, MXP, etc.).

Their are only a limited number of gates connected to the FIS at Terminal C so CO uses Terminal B when they foresee a lack of gates.

Back in February my CO flight from Athens arrived at Terminal B. Worked out ok since I was connecting to a NW flight.

LHR is not the only route that comes into Terminal B. I fly HKG-EWR quite a bit and everytime we pulled into B. If I'm not mistaken FRA usually ends up there as well.

All international arrivals are at terminal B.

Also CO has used term B for select citys, ATL comes to mind

Youre thinking Terminal A, however I think those gates are all COEx now, and mainline flights from there were brought back to Terminal C.

CO has a FIS in Terminal C as well. CO has exclusive use of the C facility, while all other airlines (including CO when they can't handle everything at C) use the B facility.

Overflow goes into "B" when "C" is full - the majority of int'l ops for CO go into C as others have suggested.

That map is left over from the days when the only way to get to LHR on CO was on a VS operated code-share.

I arrived from CDG into B. It's preferable to arriving into C in my experience with both.
